About the event
We at VCMPerth Events are super excited to announce that Michael Alvares from KITE KINETICS will be our special guest for Come Fly With Me.
There will be kite making work shops and a massive display of pinwheels featured on the day!
After the 1.5 hour kite making workshop the commencement of a spinning flower workshop for people to come and paint their own spinning flower and add to the instillation of flowers that will be on display, will take place. Each flower made will have a tag for the people to put their names on so they can take them home at the end of the festival.. These spinning flowers are made from recycled water and drink bottles cut into a flower with a cork mounted in the middle and mounted on a 1 meter fibreglass rod.
There will also be markets stalls, local community groups and loads of great food options.
To ensure we have adequate materials on the day, we will need to ask if you wish to participate in the kite making workshops you complete the registration form to secure your place. This will be posted closer to the event date.
